As an all-in-one pad for competition the Matrix Cross Country Coolback Competition Pad w/Pro-Impact Inserts uses advanced technology concealed behind traditional appearance.

The Pro-Impact Inserts are an ultra-light ultra-thin layer of high density Poron XRD open cell foam that absorbs most of the energy not only from the impact of the saddle on the horses back but from the rider on the saddle. It also minimizes the energy bounce back that a rider experiences when landing in the saddle allowing for a more secure seat.

The Coolback fleece consists of 100 polyester orthopedic fleece whish had been specially formulated to withstand the rigors of equestrian use. It is easy to clean: machine washable dryer safe.
